  30. The fiber combiner unit Fiber laser modules THE LASER FIBER LASERS UP TO 3000 W An extremely important aspect for the productivity is the presence of a “spare” module. In case of failure of one module: 1) The spare module is activated and the laser continues to deliver the nominal power. 2) You can program the service during a stoppage without affecting productivity. This is not possible with the disk laser. No production lost in case of failure!

  31. THE LASER The Right Choice: Fiber or CO2 ? THE KEY FACTOR IS THE APPLICATION

  43. MAIN OPTIONS SPLIT CABIN WELDINGS HEADS LPM FPC PERFECT TOOL CAD / CAM SYSTEMS AUTOSQUARE, SHAPESTORING, FULLTRACKING, SKATING TOBIA PRISMA

  44. MAIN OPTIONS SPLIT CABIN - When the pieces are not very large and high productivity is essential, the SPLIT CABIN is a precious help: • The machine volume is split into two halves with a partition • Only one half cabin at a time is opened • In one area the machine works, in the other one the pieces are loaded and unloaded THE BENEFITS OF THE SPLIT CABIN • NO IDLE TIME • HIGH PRODUCTIVITY • CHAIN WORK PRODUCTION • ONE OPERATOR ONLY In other words: TIME AND MONEY SAVING

  45. MAIN OPTIONS The split cabin (CO2 version) The partition can be easily moved on one side of the machine. In this way, RAPIDO recovers its full work volume to process large and very large parts:

  46. MAIN OPTIONS HANDS OFF WELDING HEAD - “HOW” • HOW= Hands Off Welding: • - no interferences with the fixtures • - specially suitable for stitch welding • Easily interchangeable with cutting B-axis • Parabolic mirror • Welding at a distance >100 mm from the workpiece • 200 mm / 300 mm parabolic mirror • Cross-jet • Removable pipe for gas adduction

  47. MAIN OPTIONS GAS ASSISTED WELDING HEAD • Isotropic distribution • of the assist gas • Easily interchangeable with cutting B-axis • 200 mm / 300 mm parabolic mirror • Annular nozzle for the assist gas distribution

  48. MAIN OPTIONS WELDING HEAD WITH WIRE FEEDER • The feeder is used: • To fill the gap in the joint • To improve the joint properties by adding an external alloy System composed of: • Wire spooler coil unit • Motor for wire feeding movement • Adjustable wire feeding system

  49. MAIN OPTIONS LPM – LASER PIERCING MONITOR The LPM option allows to automatically minimize the piercing time: • It keeps the piercing process under control, by modulating the frequency and the duty cycle. This allows the use of high power parameters. • It immediately stops the piercing process when the material has been perforated. • BENEFITS OF THE LPM • Reduction of piercing time • No expert Operator necessary: the best piercing parameters are automatically calculated • The piercing is less aggressive: no damages to the lens caused by incandescent sprinkles produced during the process

  50. MAIN OPTIONS FOCAL POSITION CONTROL (*): Flexibility with no optics set-up The FPC automatically manages: • The focus position for the material and the thickness to be processed • The compensation of the focal position in the machine work volume The FPC consists of a 90° adaptive bending mirror with a NC-controlled surface curvature. The bending of the mirror permits a shift of the focal position up to 16 mm (with 5” lens). (*) only for CP and CV lasers and not compatible with welding heads.
