  4. School Times Children can arrive to school at 8.30 with classes starting at 8.45am. There is no teacher supervision until 8.30am. Session Times 8:45 – 10:45 10:45 – 11:15 – Recess 11:15 – 1:10 1:10 – 1:20 Lunch eating time 1:20 – 2:15 Lunch play 2:15 – 3:15 End of school day Before and after school care is available. • Out of School Hours Care enrolment forms should be completed prior to the start of the school year.

Bottle green bomber jacket or windcheater WINTER Girls bootleg bottle green tracksuit pants Boys – track pants (reinforced knee or plain) White/bottle green skivvy or long-sleeved polo shirt, Bottle green vest – (polar fleece) Girls – tartan skirt or pinafore, black tights (optional) (order item – winter) All children are required to wear black leather shoes. white/bottle green socks Winter uniform A school bag, which matches the school uniform is available from the Uniform Shop. Ear studs, sleepers and watches are the only jewellery permitted. Make-up is not to be worn. Hair Policy – It is strongly suggested that hair be worn tied back.

  15. Getting ready for the first day Is my child ready for school? • We take account of your child’s needs. • Physical • Emotional • Social • Intellectual • Transition Days • Orientation Day - Tuesday 7th December 8.45am - 10.15am Together we plan programs to meet your child’s needs.

  16. What can you do with your child to prepare for the first day at school? Give your child the freedom to be independent. Celebrate when your child says, “I can do it myself.” Establish a routine with a set bedtime to ensure your child gets enough sleep. Include a bedtime story every night. REMEMBER TO NAME EVERYTHING !

  17. The First Day at School Prep. children begin school on Monday 7th February. You will receive information in the mail which will include the starting time for your child for their first day. Children should be collected from their classrooms at 1.15 p.m. for all of February. Out of School Hours Care will be available from 1.15 p.m. Please contact the coordinator by Monday 7th December to reserve a place for your child. As from Monday 28th February, children will attend school full time. 8.45 a.m. – 3.15 p.m. FIRST DAY PHOTO

Prep Entry Assessment Procedures Every child starting school is assessed so that your child’s teacher can plan a program that best caters for their individual needs. • On line English Interview • Early Years Numeracy Interview You will be notified of the appointment time for your child. (Commencing Monday 7th February)
