  2. Why Malaysia? • Malaysia is one of the most pleasant, relaxing countries to visit in southeast Asia. • It is buoyant and wealthy, and has moved towards a pluralist culture based on a vibrant and interesting fusion of Malay, Chinese, Indian and indigenous cultures and customs.

Malaysia - Geography • Malaysia is in the heart of Southeast Asia • It is situated between Thailand and Singapore. • Malaysia is a federation of 14 states and consists of two geographical regions, which separated by the South China Sea. • The combined land area of both regions is about 330,400 sq km (127,000 sq miles). • Kuala Lumpur, the capital city is the largest federal territory, followed by two others, Labuan and Putrajaya.
