  2. What is “Black Friday” Black Friday is the day after Thanksgiving when store sales are very high; The day where people wake up so early and go stand in line at a department store just waiting for the best sales.

  3. The Start of a very long DAY ! Black Friday , cause people to either start driving to their destination around the time of 12am , and or even waking up between 1-2am to be in line by 3-4am when some stores open around 6am.

  4. Where did come from? September 1869 was called Black Friday; the history of the day after Thanksgiving being the official start of the holiday shopping season. In the late 19th century and 20th century department stores would have HUGE sales. So it was like every day after thanksgiving would be the day to start your Christmas shopping. But this caused trouble, shopping stores wanted a longer shopping season but some others didn’t want to mess up the tradition; This caused U.S citizens to celebrate Thanksgiving on two different days.

Black Friday the word BLACK FRIDAY may have or may not have been originated in Philly; I say maybe because it was stated on Wikipedia and that can be changed any day, But it goes to say how there was so many people and traffic after thanksgiving which there normally is because of everything that goes on because of the stores and or families going back to where they came from. The traffic and such, lead to the causing of black Friday

  6. Its basically saying black Friday isn't what people always make it seem. Its true black Friday isn't that serious its good sales but it doesn't rank high in sales, the day before Christmas eve is when everyone does their last min shopping which ends up being the highest ranking day of sales.
