University of California: California State University: Merced Davis Berkeley Santa Cruz Santa Barbara Northridge Fresno San Jose Cal Poly San Luis Obispo Channel Islands And… • Tour of the California State Capitol Building • Monterey’s Fisherman’s Wharf and “Cannery Row” • Santa Barbara Beach

IMPORTANT • Travel Dates— “Full” four day trip • Depart “early” on Thursday March 20, 2014 • Return “late” on Sunday March 23, 2014 • GRADES, GRADES, GRADES--Because your student will be missing school you must monitor grades—students who have Ds or Fs cannot go on the trip. If your student’s grades drop in the spring we cannot guarantee a refund because the bus will already be “ordered” and will travel whether your student is on it or not.

What’s Included: What’s NOT Included: Deluxe Motor Coach Transportation 4 days/ 3 nights hotel accommodations in Holiday Inn Express Hotels Breakfast and dinner daily Six School Chaperones LUNCH! Students need to bring money to purchase lunch on a daily basis. Spending money for souvenirs….. Maybe a college pennant? Sweatshirt?

Sleeping Accommodations…… All students will be assigned four SAME GENDER students to a room with two queen beds… Ummm…….I’m thinking that maybe, possibly, I just might bring my sleeping bag…………… OK. Bff’s pair #1 Bff’s pair #2 Oh, yeah! Just FYI: Doors will be taped at night to make sure no one leaves the room!

Safety first! • Separate sleeping accommodations for girls and boys. • Girls and boys are not allowed to enter other rooms for any reason at all. • Doors will be taped at night to make sure no one leaves the rooms. • Chaperones will be in rooms close to students. • Curfew will be 9 PM every night. • All school rules apply. • Students breaking any rules will be sent home via public transportation at parent’s expense.

  7. Cost: • Cost for the trip is $300 per student. • Payments can be made based on the schedule of four payments of $75 each, payable by the first Monday of the following months: • Payment #1 due by: Monday, November 4th • Payment #2 due by: Monday, December 2nd • Payment #3 due by: Monday, February 3rd • Payment #4 due by: Monday, March 3rd • Fundraising—applied to “group” expenses • Cookie Dough Orders due Oct 17—arrives before Thanksgiving • AVON—”Stocking Stuffers”—before Christmas Break • December 10—Chipotle Night—must have flyer • Applebee’s Pancake Breakfast—TBD by Parent Volunteers • Call 413-1418 and ask for a manager.  • manager be able to help you with dates and information. • Mr. Davis or Mrs. Nieburger will assist with funds procured
