  3. Blogs & Wikis are quick & easy web pages • Blog: • A site that you can use to post information & to allow others to comment on it. - usually individual • Wiki: • A site where you can quickly and easily add, edit, & link Web - usually collaborative

  4. How do you use Blogs & Wikis? • Usually add text, but can add pictures, audio & video. • Blog • Web log (web-based/chronological) • Started as a personal journal/diary • Now: business updates, editorials, current event documentation, government, educational & more.

Blogs • Web log – online journal • Chronological order • Text mostly, but images, videos, podcasts/audio files can be added. • “Private” or public Wikis • Wiki means quick • Collaborative, editable webpages, create new pages, arrange/orgainze, upload documents to share. • History of edits is kept, 1 click to older version, if needed. • Private or public viewing or editing.
