  1. Gifted Programming Models GCPS Endorsement Course April 2012 You will move into your groups the night of the Elluminate session to share your gifted programming model with the questions in this ppt. Keep in mind that you will have ~8-10 minutes to share your model, so you may want to use a stopwatch on your phone or computer to help plan your time.

  2. Questions to Analyze Model When analyzing your curriculum model using the website links (and any other resources you may find), please answer the 4 questions on the slides. Then, be prepared to ask and/or answer questions at the end of your informal presentation. Suggestion: You may want to print the next 6 ppt slides, use them as a guide while researching your model, and then you will be able to use those notes while sharing your model with your Jigsaw group.

  3. Your Curriculum Model ________________________ (Type or write the name of your model on this line!)

  4. Question #1 What is the background on this model? (Who created it and when? What is the proclaimed purpose of the model?)

  5. Question #2 What is the basic structure of this model? You are welcome to upload a graphic organizer (in a word doc) of the model while you share with your group. Just make sure you have it ready on your desktop and use the upload button in the right hand corner.

  6. Question #3 Why would this model be helpful in meeting the learning needs of gifted students K-12?

  7. Question #4 What evidence of this model is available either in GCPS or other schools/school systems? (How practical do you think it is for implementation?)

  8. Last Step… Ask your group what questions they may have about your model. (Prepare several questions to ask your group just in case no one has any questions.)
