  3. Classification: • Classified on the way it moves • Sarcodines – move by psuedopodia • Ciliates – move by cilia • Zooflagellates – move by flagellum • Sporozoans – do not move

  4. Protists and Humans • Some protozoans can be parasitic • Can cause dysentry, sleeping, sickness, and malaria
