  2. First day: cold and windy, but eager to begin.

  3. Setting up equipment along walkway and DRT Plaza area. In foreground: HydroTek T300 Trailer / SC30008DAF / AZV88 Recycle

  4. Pete using a HydroTek ANT28 surface cleaner along peagravel concrete.

  5. Powerwash guns battling the grime! On left, Bob is using a 15 degree spray nozzle. On right, Pete powers it off with a Turbonozzle.

  6. The grime of time. On left, David uses a HydroTek ANT3C Contractor Surface Cleaner.

  7. The Sundial, left, was erected in 1940 to honor the nine men who gave their lives in the fight for Texas’ liberty at the Battle of San Jacinto, April 21, 1836. Being washed are the pink granite base and lime-stone circular walkway. The DRT Panels, center, were built in 1937 by the State of Texas in recognition of the San Jacinto Chapter’s efforts to “acquire and mark the Battlegrounds of San Jacinto where our Republic was born”. The Boulder, right foreground, marks the location of a Texian Army camp, where men waited to battle the forces of self-appointed Mexican dictator Santa Anna.

  8. 100 feet of hose brings power to the job.

  9. 3,000 psi + 5 gpm + 200 deg water + Turbonozzle = a faster, deeper clean. The surface is shellstone and concrete.

  10. Pedro cleaning with HydroTek ANT28 Surface Cleaner onpeagravel concrete walkway.

  11. Ray powerwashes the edge of the peagravel concrete walkwaywith a Turbonozzle and hot water.

  12. Ray uses a Turbonozzle and hot water to bring out the sparkle in granite Boulder No. 3, marking Millard’s Camp.

  13. Ray takes on granite Boulder No. 4, marking Lamar’s Camp. Weapons of choice: Turbonozzle and hot water.

  14. Water break.HydroTek Just-Add-Water Trailer with SS30005VH pressure washer.

  15. Douglas works on the limestone Great Stone Circle walkway, using Alklean trailer with 260 gallon water tank and dual hose reels.

  16. Is Douglas contemplating the replica of the “Twin Sisters” cannons, which were used in the Battle of San Jacinto in 1836…or the dirt-encrusted limestone?

  17. Douglas is using a 15 degree nozzle with an ANT28 Surface Cleaner at the ready.

  18. Brenda, John Sr., and John Jr. Purswell, with Alklean trailer with SCU51006VAF and 260 gallon watertank/hose reels.

  19. John Sr., Brenda, and John Jr. Purswell, Alklean Industries, Inc. and the freshly-cleaned DRT Panels and Plaza.
