  3. Problem: 3 different audio devices Home Stereo Car Stereo Portable Expensive Inconvenience of Transporting Media Solution: One device Portable Home Docking Station Car Docking Station Save Money Eliminate need to transfer media Introduction

Primary Tasks: • The unit will be functional for portable use • Support Functions: Play, Stop, Next/Previous Track, Volume Control • LCD will display functional data • An adequate power system will be designed • PC interface/software will be complete for data transfer • Storage of digital music on a mass storage device will be possible

  5. Secondary Tasks: • MP3 Track information will be displayed by the LCD • All three applications of the unit will be functional • The docking stations will be fully functional • Amplifiers for speaker output • Power converters will be designed • Software for advanced MP3 file management

  6. Additional Tasks: • FCC/CE testing/certification • Remote control operation of the unit • Record capability • Playlist capability • FM radio capability
