  1. Blog 3:Sabarcodes.co.za WHY DOES YOUR BUSINESS NEED BARCODE? Do you own a product orientated business? How do you manage it? Off course you might have employed efficient staff for that. But I mean to say are you sure that your staff can help you manage your business without any errors and handle your customers efficiently. I can say with a hell of experience that all it takes is one billing mistake and you might lose your customer forever! These kind of errors don’t only make you lose your customers, but pose a difficulty in inventory management; and altogether lands you in potential losses. Not only your business is in loss my friend, but also your credibility is at stake! So how would you battle this situation? Recruit more staff? Won’t that be a costly affair? Given that you have your own family too to feed. I’ll tell you what to do. You don’t you make everything more systematicand automated? Why don’t you try barcodes? If you aren’t aware of the barcode thing, it is defined as an optical representation of data relating to the object it is attached to. Now this optical representation of data is machine readable. Product barcodes may contain complete information of the product and cannot be understood by naked eyes. They are originally scanned by electronic devices known as barcode scanners, which later are connected to the inventory management system. Because there is no hand entered data, a barcode scan thereby eliminates all possibilities of errors - either in billing or inventory, making your business operations more fast and efficient.
