  2. What is bibliography a list of books, journal articles, reports, handbooks, Internet sources and other source materials you have used in your report. It is placed at the end of the report and may be arranged in different ways.

  3. Why do we need bibliography • We need to see what literature you have used for your work • All reports must document all sources used. • When you want to rely on someone else’s writing to support your own work you must give it a credit. • Not citing sources is called plagiarism.

  4. References • Reference = a sign or indication in the text which tells the reader which source of information has been used

  5. Referencing (in text) • Muller (1998) describes the causes of asthma among workers working in dust. or: • Causes of asthma among workers working in dust have been discussed (Muller, 1998, Aston, 2000). Or: • Muller (3) describes the causes of asthma among workers working in dust.

  6. How to cite bibliography • Make a separate list • Arrange bibliographical references in alphabetical order
