  2. Reporting ATN Implementation Status • A project on ATN has been taken • This ATN project will be implemented at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, Dhaka, Bangladesh

  3. Progress • A Tender Evaluation Process on ATN has been completed

  4. Scope The requirements and technical specification defined by CAAB for establishment of the following components of ATN in Bangladesh: • ATN ground-ground router with wide area network connections with two ATN backbones: Bangkok and Mumbai • AMHS including AFTN/AMHS gateway • AFTN based AIDC to connect ATS centre of Dhaka to those of Kolkata and Yangon

  5. Scope • The architecture, performance, reliability, quality of service and security requirements of the systems and the application programs shall comply with ICAO SARPs and specifications defined in ICAO Annex 10, Volume II, ICAO Document 9880 and 9896. • Router and AMHS shall be based on Internet Protocol Suite (IPS), referred to as ATN/IPS, as defined in ICAO Document 9896 and the AIDC shall be based on AFTN

  6. Attention Areas • ATN will be implemented in CAA Bangladesh within 6 months.
