Aims: • To prevent/reduce youth ASB. • To engage YP’s aged 9 - 18 • To encourage YP to use Timebanking. • To provide YP with access to local workplaces • To provide YP with access to positive activities & experiences AFTER they have earned sufficient time credits. • To support local businesses & companies. • To support partnership working. • To embed the Project in the communities where the children live.

Case studies: • 14yr old causing ASB in Chelt & Tewks, Aston found her a job at a local bakery, she earns lots of time credits, goes on activities & joined an archery club, & has not re-offended for 12 months. • 10yr old from a very dysfunctional family background; vulnerable & getting in to trouble through anger issues – huge Aston involvement to offer him chances & support he would never have within his family – ongoing. If he was left unsupported …………………

Fewer young people NEET Improving young peoples confidence and self esteem Helping young people become productive community members Increased involvement in the community and strengthened community links Increased Police profile & trust within the community Reduced ASB short, medium and long term Supporting local businesses Identifying gaps in service provision for young people Onward signposting for other identified issues Project informs ASB Working Group/SLG – partnership working OUTCOMES
