  1. WELCOME TO THE FRANC ROZMAN STANE PRIMARY SCHOOL! Our school is situated about 5 km from the center of Ljubljana. It provides education for children aged six to fifteen. The school will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2011!

  2. HEAD OF SCHOOL This is our head teacher, Mr Božo Starašinič.

  3. OUR SCHOOL YEAR STARTS ON 1st SEPTEMBER AND FINISHES ON 24th JUNE.LESSONS START AT 8.15. OUR YOUNGEST STUDENTS ARE OFFERED BEFORE- AND AFTER-SCHOOL CARE.CHILDREN START GOING TO SCHOOL IN SEPTEMBER OF THE ACADEMIC YEAR IN WHICH THEY TURN SIX. TIME TO LEARN!

  4. SCHOOL MEALS OUR SCHOOL PROVIDES BREAKFAST, SNACK, LUNCH AND ALSO AFTERNOON SNACK FOR THOSE WHO STAY IN AFTER-SCHOOL CARE. SCHOOL LUNCHES ARE COOKED ON THE PREMISES AND ARE ALWAYS FRESH AND TASTY. WE ENCOURAGE OUR STUDENTS TO EAT HEALTHILY. BESIDES, OUR SCHOOL TAKES PART IN THE NATIONAL SCHOOL FRUIT & VEGETABLE SCHEME, WHICH MEANS THAT WE OFFER EVERYBODY FRESH FRUITS AND VEGETABLES. An apple a day keeps the doctor away.

  5. CURRICULUM TIMETABLE – CLASS 6 B computer lab OUR STUDENTS LEARN ENGLISH AS THEIR FIRST FOREIGN LANGUAGE. IF THEY WANT, THEY CAN ALSO TAKE FRENCH OR GERMAN IN THEIR 7th GRADE.

  6. EXERCISE PLAYS AN IMPORTANT PART IN DEVELOPING A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE. OUR STUDENTS LEARN ROLLERBLADING, ICE SKATING, SKIING, SWIMMING,… SPORTS

  8. LEARNING OUTSIDE THE CLASSROOM WE GET FIRST HAND EXPERIENCE WITH NATURE ON OUR SCHOOL RESIDENTIAL TRIPS, EXCURSIONS…

  9. These activities enrich the students’ learning experiences and help to make the time at school more enjoyable.
