  4. Andy Amstutz - President Andy Amstutz served 21 years at Precise Machining & Mfg. as Production Manager. Over the course of Andy’s career at Precise he was instrumental helping to land and engineer the production of many major aerospace contracts, beginning with components for the B1 Bomber running from 1982-85, monumental in establishing Precise as a leader in the aerospace and defense markets. 1985-93 Cruize missile, Harpoon missile, and SMAW (Shoulder-Launched Multipurpose Assault Weapon). 1992-95 Conformal Fuel Tanks and Bomb racks for F15’s. 1996-1999 Boeng 737 Project (Still under contract today at Precise). JDAM (Joint Direct Attack Munition) 2000 – Began ALPHA Machining & Mfg. Lou AnnAmstutz – Vice President Lou Ann Amstutz is a graduate of the University of Tulsa with a BS in Early Childhood Development. She worked for Tulsa Public Schools for 18 years and was selected as teacher of the year at Eliot Middle School in 1997. After giving up teaching to direct her attention to Alpha Machining & Mfg., Lou Ann has become an integral part of the Alpha team, contributing in the areas of accounting, human resources, shop management, purchasing, records keeping, and many other vital parts of daily operations including our ISO9001/AS9100 Quality System. Dale Killion – General Manager Dale Killion Served as a machinist at Precise Machining & Mfg. under Andy Amstutz between 1991-1994. 1994-97 Dale continued his role as a machinist at Weathers Machine but also added a tremendous amount experience at planning and program jobs forCNC mills. Dale Also began Training and managing other CNC machinists. 1997-2000 CNC Programmer & Mfg. Engineer for Tulsa Winch. Responsibilities included programming of 16 CNC machines, new machine purchases, design of work holding Fixtures, and selection of all tools. Also included plant layout design. 2000-Present Machine Shop Management, CNC Machine Tool Sales, Industrial Supply Sales, Operations Management, Tulsa Technology Center Instructor (Part Time).

  5. History of Alpha Machining & Mfg. 2000 - ALPHA Machining & Mfg. begins business with 2 VMC’s, 1 CNC Lathe & 3 Employees. 2002 – Purchased 3 additional CNC Lathes. Added many customers including Crosby Group, Lebus, National Swage, American Transfer (Bus Plant), and Bartlett Collins. 2006 – Purchased 5-axis VMC, 2 VMC’s, 1 HMC, & 1 CNC Lathe. Growing business with Primus Walden Division, OTA, Industrial Splicing, & CRC Evans. 2007 – Won $500k 1 year contract with Primus Walden Division to manufacture Detention Arms (Part# 1168204). Purchased 2 Kia HMC’s to meet production demands. Purchased fully programmable CMM machine. Added 3500 Square ft. Building. 2008 – Continued Contract with Primus another contract year. Won million dollar contract with Nordam. Purchased 2nd SNK PC60 5-axis machine. 2009 – Achieved ISO9001-AS9100 Certification Quality Manual Written by: Kristin Case (Case Consults) Renewed contract with Primus to run Detention Arms (Part# 1168204) for 2 more years.
