Final Thoughts about the Choice Statement Once you have a Choice Statement the choice is already made....the only thing left up in the air is, “Which one?” A poorly thought out Choice Statement can get you the very best of something you either don’t want or don’t need! If you always do what you always done you’ll always get what you always got! 3

Audit Criteria • Does each Criteria mean the same thing to everyone? • Are all Mandatory Criteria Measurable with a Realistic Limit? • Has the limit of each Mandatory Criteria been “stretched”? • Where appropriate has a Mandatory Criteria sponsored a Desirable Criteria? • Are there any “basket” criteria…and…but… • Are there and “double valued” Criteria? • Do all the Criteria truly relate to the Choice Statement? • Are any of my Criteria really Options? • Are all interested parties Criteria included in the list? • Is the list of Criteria balances short term vs. long term? • Based upon the “Audited list of Criteria” should the Choice Statement be revisited? 4
