  1. How Can I Identify Fake Protein Powder The Indian market is filled with fake protein powder supplements, and it is important to remain careful. Fake protein powders contain a lot of useless and harmful ingredients and they can cause harm to the body. Thus it is important to be buy authentic and genuine products, even if it means they are more expensive. Some ways to identify fake protein powders are: Packaging:Always check the packaging, bottle/jar, print quality, MRP tags, etc. They won’t be of high quality if they are fake. If you notice carefully, you can observe a difference. It will look cheaper. Taste: Fake protein powders taste different. They might have a different smell than the original, and might not taste as good. This is mainly because they contain useless ingredients and fillers, and are not really protein powders. Amino Acids: Some fake products include non-proteinogenic amino acids like beta-alanin and creatinine. Always check if the product contains a list of the amino acids included in it. Some important amino acids are leucine, valine, etc. Leucine helps start muscle synthesis in the body and should be contained in the product. Photo by Darío Méndez on Unsplash

  2. Mixability:Fake products won’t mix and dissolve well. They might even form lumps in the shake. Always check for the solubility and mixability of the product. Other things to remember are the texture of the product (it should be consistent and smooth), and how you feel after tasting it. Many fake suppliers give large discounts on the product. Many customers fall prey to this tactic. Always buy a product from an authorized dealer or site. Check the barcode on the site of the product. Also, go for known and reputed brands.
