  2. Current Progress • Solving installation issues in grid node in Egypt. • Registering the grid site in Egypt on GOCDB. • Learning Ansible. Ansible is attempted to automate IT by making deploying, configuring, and updating software on one machine like doing it on thousand of machines. • To use Ansible we have to configure playbooks. Those playbooks are the files which contain the commands that will deployed on the machines. • Test deploying grid node with Ansible.

  3. Perspectives and schedules 6 Production of tier 3 gride node. 5 Selection and training of grid management team. Knoweldge transfer to the WP3 team in France and Italy. Production of tier 2 gride node. Selection of the grid team and administration assistance to facilitate their travel to Europe. 4 Pre-Production test of tier 2 gride node. 3 Work Package Three Progress Continue formations at LLR. 2 Pre-Production test of tier 3 gride node. 1 May-Aug Sep-Nov Dec-Feb Mar-Jun Jul-Sep Oct-Dec 2013 2014

  4. Current status • Currently Grid node is up and working with some issues • The grid is consisting from the following • One machine acts as a BDII_SITE. • One machine acts as a UI. • One machine acts as a CE. • One machine acts as a WN. • One machine acts as a DPM_MYSQL. • One machine acts as a DPM_DISK. • One machine acts as a SQUID. • All the machines are installed on Physical machines.

  5. Current status • All the machines have the following specs: • Also we have two virtual machines acting as TOP-BDII and UI. • The site is now registered on GOCDB under this link: • https://goc.egi.eu/portal/index.php?Page_Type=Site&id=961 • It is important to mention that all the services registered on GOCDB are monitored with AfricaArabia ROC in South Africa. • We have one last issue with the servers certificates.
