It is no surprise that the world is getting polluted each day that passes. Within the increase of the human population, the increase of the consumption is heading to a point non-stop. With earth, air, and water pollution, additional of global warming and enormous expenditure, the world that we live in is slowly parting apart. Even though it is safe to say that there is stil a chance to save our home, it will be only possible within taking some cautions.
According to the survey results: 33 people recycle regularly when 12 people don’t recycle regularly. We should recycle because; • -To make environment clean, • -To conservate of materials, • -To save energy, • When you think of recycling you should really think about the whole idea; reduce, reuse and recycle. When you produce less garbage it helps in reducing the landfills and also helps in giving the land back to the nature also we can avoid from air and water pollution. Be mindful of what you do, pay attention to the items you buy and always check yourself to see if you really need it or if it comes in a package with less waste. We can all do our part and we will make a huge difference.
Most of the participants of the survey aren’t member of a environmental group. But why is it important to be a member of an environmental group? Environmental groups not only helps a deal amount for environmental-destruction, it also unites and guides people who are willing to help as well. If you are think “How am I supposed to help?” , these environmental groups would be your guidancelike; Greenpeace began in 1971 when a group of activists put themselves directly in harm’s way in order to protest nuclear testing off the coast of Alaska.
46 people has taken reduce electricity consumption when 8 people hasn’t taken any steps to reduce electricity consumption. Why reducing electricity consumption is important; because energy management is the key to saving energy in your organization. Much of the importance of energy saving stems from the global need to save energy - this global need affects energy prices, emissions targets,
“Plastics are very long-lived products that could potentially have service over decades, and yet our main use of these lightweight, inexpensive materials are as single-use items that will go to the garbage dump within a year, where they’ll persist for centuries.Billions of bottles take up valuable landfill space, leak toxic additives into the groundwater in addition the cost of the bottling, packaging, shipping, marketing, retailing and transporting it all over the globe is energy consuming, too. So if we can decrease number of people using plastic bottles (43) we can help to conserve the environment we live in. We can always use flasks or glass bottles instead of plastic bottles.
According to the result of the survey nearly everyone is well aware of the harms of the plastic products give to the environment. So what are these harms; • Plastic debris, laced with chemicals and often ingested by marine animals, can injure or poison wildlife.• Floating plastic waste, which can survive for thousands of years in water, serves as mini transportation devices for disrupting habitats.• Plastic buried deep in landfills can leach harmful chemicals that spread into groundwater. • Around 4 percent of world oil production is used as a feedstock to make plastics, and a similar amount is consumed as energy in the process.
The graphics above shows that people are using public transport not as much as they should be because nearly half of the participants prefer public transport because of necessity. • Of course the biggest importance of the public transportation is, it helps the environment. When you switch from driving your car to taking public transport, you are reducing your carbon footprint and making a great step forward in saving the environment. The environmental costs of individuals using their cars everyday has done massive damage to the environment and if majority or all of these individuals like you and me use public transport instead, think of what we are doing good to the environment.
Fromthis question we receive that most people are concerned about «Environmental pollution» and «Global warming». Environmental pollution is the introduction of harmful pollutants into a certain environment that make an environment unhealthy to live in. The widespread pollutants are usually chemicals, garbage, and wastewater. Environmental pollution is happening in multifold parts of Earth usually in the form of air and water pollution Global warming is the rise in the average temperature of Earth's atmosphere and oceans since the late 19th century and its projected continuationand change in the rhythms of climate that all living things have come to rely upon.
The graphics below are the answers of the questions respectively 29 people consider themselves as environmentally friendly when 8 people don’t. It is important for people to be self-aware since «realization» is the first step to start conserving the environment and recycle regularly. Don’t ever forget to be “Environmentally Friendly” because remember, future awaits!
According to the results 45 people aren’t satisfied with the recycle bins in their neighbourhood. • So we should write a petition about the recycling bins or complain to our cityhall because recycling is one of the most important resolution to protect the Earth and our own environment.
Most of the people think that recycle opportunities in our campus is adequate which is important because schools are one of the most paper consuming place. If we can manage to recycle regulary we can reduce the amount of trees cut down every year to produce new papers.
