Company Introduction Mid-Atlantic Crane has been in business since 1980 producing quality crane systems within the specifications of the Crane Manufacturers Association of America, Inc. Mid-Atlantic Crane has evolved into a leading regional supplier of overhead material handling systems. Our specialty is designing, manufacturing, and installing overhead bridge cranes and runway systems. We engineer, fabricate, service, install, and provide replacement parts for overhead crane systems in the Mid-Atlantic states. We have installed our systems from Pennsylvania through Florida.

SALES DEPARTMENT • Mid-Atlantic Crane’s Sales Dept has extensive experience and knowledge in engineering and production, enabling them to assist the customer in selecting the best equipment for the project, as well as guiding them through the design and manufacturing process.
ENGINEERING • Our Engineering Dept is led by an in-house Professional Engineer with design experience and capability. The Engineering Dept is integrally involved from design layout, through the customer approval stage, and throughout the manufacturing.
MANUFACTURING • Our manufacturing facility includes welders that are certified to General Welding Standards AWS D1.1 and Standards for Hoist & Crane AWS D1.1 with capacities to 100-tons and spans to 120-ft. Affixing welded box girders, which are lighter and more efficient results in a cost-effective design with higher capacities and smaller loads.
PARTS & SERVICE • Our Parts & Service Departments focus on servicing our customers, including 24/7 emergency breakdown, OSHA inspections, preventative maintenance, load testing, and repairs. We have a large variety of parts in stock including manufactured and brand name replacement parts.

Service TechniciansTRAINING • First 3 months on the job: One-On-One training in the field • Safety Training including OSHA 10, Rigger, Signalman, Miner Safety, etc. • Equipment Training: Forklift, Scissor Lift, Telescoping Man lift • Job Specific Product Training on Hoists, Brakes, Radios, Vector Drives • Wiring Cranes in Manufacturing

Service TechniciansTERRITORY • Service Techs work with and communicate with all levels of customer management from owners to plant superintendents. • Job sites vary from large aircraft manufacturers to small machine shops. • MDAC’s primary service territory is NC, SC, and VA.

WAGES / BENEFITS • Starting pay for an Entry Level Service Tech is around $15.50/hr with $1/hr raise after 90 days. This is a trainee position. All you are doing is learning!
