  1. Charles Manson By: Samantha Shannon

  2. Charles Manson • Charles Manson was born on November 12,1934 in Cincinnati, Ohio. • His wives were Rosalie Jean Willis and Leona (last name unknown). • His mother’s name is Kathleen Maddox and his father’s name is Colonel Scott but he took his stepfather’s name, William Manson.

  3. “The Family” • Charles Manson was the leader of a cult group. They believed he was God, and did anything and everything he asked for. If he asked them to murder someone, they would do it without question.

  4. The Murders • The first murder done by the “family” was Gary Hinman. • His first mass murders was called the “Tate” homicides because it happened at Sharon Tate’s home. Five people were killed that night.

  5. “The Sharon Tate Murders” Thefirst person to die at Sharon Tate’s home was Steven Parent. He was shot four times by Tex, a “family” member. The second person to die was Jay Sebring because he was hollering at Tex to stop trying to tie them up because Sharon was 8 months pregnant. He then got shot twice. The third person to die was Voytek Frykowski because he was trying to fight back so he got stabbed 51 times, shot, and hit with a pistol which broke the handle. The fourth person to die was Abigail Folger because she freaked out and tried to escape but one of the “family” members tackled her and Tex stabbed her.

  6. “The Sharon Tate Murders” (continued) That leaves Sharon Tate pleading for the life of her baby. The last words she heard were, “Woman, I have no mercy for you.” The last words she said were, “Please don't kill me. I don't want to die. I want to live. I want to have my baby.” Then Tex stabbed her 16 times and wrote PIG on the door with her blood. Doctors say it was a perfectly healthy baby boy and if the doctors could of got there within 20 minutes of her death, the baby could have been saved.

  7. The victims of the Sharon TATE murders Top Row From Left To Right: Steven Parent, Jay Sebring, Voytek Frykowski, Abigail Folger. Bottom Row: Sharon Tate

  8. “The LaBianca Murders” • This murder scene was held two days after the “Tate” homicides. • Leno and Rosemary LaBianca were found stabbed to death with dozens of wounds.

  9. The Last Murder Committed by the “Family” • Finally, Donald Shea was murdered. He was a former stuntman, actor, and ranch worker. He was hit with a pipe wrench and then stabbed.

  10. Charles Manson’s “Plan” • They say the reason Manson committed all those murders are because he wanted to take over the world. • His plan was to kill people and to make it look like the African Americans did it. When he killed someone he put the word pig on the wall because that’s what African Americans called the cops. He was against the African Americans because he wanted them to revolt and start killing all the white people so then they could turn on other African Americans and the “family” would be the only people left to repopulate the Earth. He thought this plan would work but to this day he is still in a jail cell rotting away.
