  17. Who Are We Trying to Reach? Students who are struggling with basic math concepts or have learning gaps and who lack the understanding of essential math concepts necessary for future success.

  18. Math by Topic Frequently used with Tiers 2 and 3 as an RTI curriculum or a classroom resource. Covers grades 1-8 by level and then by topic.

Teachers must assess student understanding in order to place a student in the proper level.
