  2. Beibei • The blue mascot means water, and can also mean ocean.She represents the aquatics.

  3. Jingjing • The panda means earth and nature. He represents weightlifting.

  4. Huanhuan • This mascot represents fire, his sport is ball sports.

  5. Nini • This mascot’s name is Nini and she represents the sky and her sport is gymnastics.

  6. Yingying • This mascot represents mountains, and her sport is running

  7. When you put the Mascot’s Names Together • When you put their names together it says Bei Jing Huan Ying Ni -- they say "Welcome to Beijing”.

  8. The Creator • The creator is Han Meilin he is a famous Chinese artist. He drew 1,000 models of a possible Fuwa including a dragon and an Anthropomorphic drum.
