  2. Long Term Goals: • Adopt 21st Century teaching approaches to enhance students’ English Reading. • To let Children know about the different genre in Literature. • To let children perform at an exceptional level. • To implement a process that increases work efficiency in children.

  3. Short Term Goals: • To develop Reading and Speaking skills. • To Let Children critically analyze the characters and scenario. • Encourage Students to use Pocket Dictionaries . • To enhance their Vocabulary and Spellings.

  4. Instructional Strategies and Tasks: • I will Provide more opportunities for students to answer questions that require High-Order Thinking. • I will provide students with time for group discussion. • I will ask questions that require students.

  5. Solutions to anticipated Challenges: CHALLENGES: • The parents may not agree with my decision of using computers at home, they think it a wastage of time for children. • Many children do not own a computer. SOLUTIONS: • I will convince them to let the children know about this modern technology and to let them explore different things their selves. • I will conduct an after school class in school computer Lab to let children aware of it.

Class 4 News:By Ms.SadafManzoorJune 17,2011 What happened in Class thisWeek: • Students learned about “Rudyard Kiplings”the author of their concern Novel “The Jungle Book”. • Students also wrote and recited their poems. What will happen in Class Next Week: • Question/Answers and Word/Meanings are due on Monday. Make sure they have their novel copy and Dictionary in their bag. • Will have a Class Dictation on Tuesday from ORC.

  7. TIME LINE: I will successfully adopt 21st century teaching approached in my class room. I will focus encouragement, rather than praise. August October September November I will focus on questioning skills. I will work on creating collaborative groups or parts.

  9. About Rudyard Kipling: • Rudyard Kipling's The Jungle Book is a 1994Disneyfilm based on the Mowgli stories in The Jungle Book and The Second Jungle Book by Rudyard Kipling, and is a live-action remake of the 1967 animated film of the same name.

  10. Story Review: Mowgli was a little boy. He accidently came into the jungle.

  11. Mother Wolf accepted him as her own child and refused to give him to the terrible Shere Khan. Mowgli got so many friends in the jungle.

  12. As Mother Wolf refused to give Mowgli to Shere Khan .He became his fierce enemy . He wanted to eat Mowgli. .
