RATIONALE FOR CHANGE • Based on the following: • Brunei Vision 2035 • An educated, highly skilled and accomplished people • Quality of life • Dynamic and sustainable economy • Eight (8) Policy Directions in Education Strategy, Wawasan Brunei 2035 • Report by the Special Working Committee on Human Resource – Brunei Darussalam National Human Resource Development Policy and Plan [extract from Draft 5, 4th January 2005)

  4. RATIONALE FOR CHANGE • Based on the following: • Reference To Educational Systems And Curricula Of Various Countries • Reports from overseas consultants such Hugo Baetens Beardsmore and Sharifah Maimunah IIEP UNESCO • Various locally appointed taskforce 4
