  2. Temperature • Taiwan's annual average temperature is about 24 degrees Celsius in the south and 22°C in the north • It is very warm.

  3. Language • Mandarin is the official language of Taiwan. • In the central and southern areas, the younger generation speak mandarin. • The middle aged speak both, and the Older generation speak primariyTaiwanese. • Mandarin has been the official language of Taiwan since 1945.

  4. Cultures • Religions: mixture of Buddhist and Taoist 93%, Christian 4.5%, other 2.5% • Government: multipartydemocracy. • Taiwan Culture It is in fact a perfect combination of Confucianist Han Chinese cultures and European, Japanese, American, global, and local traditions.
