Why Change? • Traditional "paper based“ portfolios, are a stop/start approach to delivery. • learners and assessors compile documentation to be retained in ring binders, leading to lots of waste and ineffective evidence. • The learner and assessor tend to have short contact meetings, with long periods of inactivity in between. • The whole learning process is inefficient, and for many learners and employers, largely inappropriate and antiquated ISIS From paper to pixels Project
Aims of the Project • Provide two way remote facilities to access qualifications, assessors and Learners. • Replace paper with E-Portfolios. • Use a range of technology to carry out assessments electronically. • Provide staff with the required training and resources to deliver the project.
