Nurturing the Seeds of Change Social Enterprise is to generate revenue, achieve positive social, cultural, and community economic outcomes.
Seeds of Change- What is this Project about? This is a three year project, in partnership with NAN, KO and PARO to support sustainable infrastructure targeting the youth age 15-36 in Social Enterprise. If you make an income selling or offering services to support your family you should consider your self an Entrepreneur. Seeds of Change will assist you with getting connected to resources and training to run your own business.
Seeds of Change Goal We are working to raise awareness within the NAN communities about Social Enterprise. So that the youth who are working for themselves in the community to feed and care for their families have the supports they need to continue to make a positive impact on their community and family life.
Some of the Deliverables that are promised are; Create a accredited high school course - The youth will be able to learn how to build an effective social enterprise and or business. Having an interactive website that the youth entrepreneurs will be able to go to connect with other entrepreneurs and discuss best practices and their own personal experience . Ongoing training and support for EDO's. There will be networking so that all EDO's will have access to important information to assist others in the communities. This will help build up economic and social development opportunities
Online Services Your online options are; Facebook group- here you can post your buy and sell items to reach all NAN communities and your events and connect with other Entrepreneurs. Website- with Profiles of Entrepreneurs just like you who are making a living on their own. Sharing best practices and their success stories. You will have access to search engines to help you locate buy and sell items, communities, resources and contacts to help you further your business plan.
