  2. Epithelial Tissue • They collect cells together in sheets. • Skin protects the body from trauma • Ultraviolet rays from the sun • Extremes of temperature • Drying and bacterial invasion

  3. Connective Tissue • Holds tissue together/support • Bone, cartilage, tendon, and ligaments are all forms of this

  4. Allow us to move Smooth found in hollow organs and Skeletal muscle causes motion Myofibers is a full muscle cell Muscular Tissue

  5. Nervous Tissue • Found in the brain/spinal cord • Nervous tissue contains cells called Neurons • Three types of nerve cells. • Motor Neurons- cause an action such as contraction of muscle. • Interneuron's- communicate between neuron • Sensory- responsible for detecting pain.
