Plan for increasing Gold Technical colleges are contacting customers who need to improve scores Gwinnett has improved scores for 58 customers (25 to Gold) Clarke has improved scores for 28 customers (6 to Gold) Walton has improved scores for 40 customers (15 to Gold)
GOLD plans Encourage skills gap training prior to WR Make it easy for customers to access gap training Contacting high schools regarding lack of skills gap training activity
5 Counties Certified; 4 over 90% - Gwinnett made great progress with private sector! All certified counties have made 1/3 increase recertification goals! Issues with Madison and Oglethorpe graduation rate data – all other met Clarke to increase when certified
Talent Management Expanding tech college enrollment: new buildings at ATC and GTC; certificate program at Atlanta Tech in fall ’11 Regulatory career workshops at area colleges with RAPS KSU/SPSU on April 12 Expand “Lab Math” noncredit course to increase completion 2011 Life Science Workforce Forum as communication vehicle
