Preparedness Steps Step One: Awareness - Inspire a desire to ‘Be Prepared’ Step Two: Training - CERTified to ‘Be Prepared To Move’ Step Three: Practice - Club, District and Zone provides DPTR Leadership and Organization in communities and supports the ‘Be Prepared To Move Quickly’ process 5
Club Disaster Operations Officer (C-DOO) • Club’s DPTR Representative to the D-DOC • DPTR Liason to Club and Members • Attends D-DOC DPTR Training Sessions and Community Events • Becomes CERT One Trained • Neighborhood Council Disaster Coordinator 6
Developing the RD5260 Team • RD5260 is working to confirm a C-DOO for our 36 Clubs and a D-DOC Team • Develop DPTR Alliance Relationships in Neighborhoods and Communities • Work with Rotary Districts in our Zone • Work with Fellow Rotary Zones • Rotary International DPTR Worldwide 7
