Plural Subjects, I & You Questions • Do I work at Al Ain Zoo? • Do you study every day? • Do we live in Dubai? • Do they speak Arabic? • Do the students come from the U.A.E.? • Note: You can make negative questions using don’t instead of do.
Singular Subjects, He, She, & It Questions • Does the child eat breakfast every day? • Doeshe usually exercise in the afternoon? • Doesshe wake up early? • Doesit often rain in December? Note: You can make negative questions using doesn’t instead of does.
Important Note • Note that the second or main verb stays in the base form. It does not change, even when the subject is singular: • Does he speak French? • NOT • Does he speaks French?
