COMPULSORY EDUCATION LEVEL Compulsory education is ten years covering ages from 5 to 15 years. There are also Evening High Schools for working students 14 years and over. HIGHER EDUCATION StructureandFunction Since 2001 (Law 2916/2001) provides that higher education has twoparallel sectors: Α)university (Universities / Academic Education., Technical University, Faculty of Fine Arts Greek Open University) and b) the technology (Technology Education / TEI. and the SchoolPedagogical and Technological Education / ASPETE.).
