  6. Monitoring Math Fluency • Math probes are timed-test used to monitor students’ math fluency progress • Monitoring includes… • Math Probe Benchmark Screening • Weekly Math Probe Practice and Screening

  7. Benchmark Screening • Teacher and testing team administer Math Probe test to all students • Papers are collected and returned to the Math/Reading Lab • Teachers will visit the lab during planning/enrichment time to grade test • Scores will be placed into ISTEEP

Weekly Math Probe Practice Classroom View: Items needed: Coach Card Student Pairs Flash Cards Weekly Timed Test Math Probe Folder • Teacher will use a coach card to provide directions. • Students will sit in pairs. • Partner 1 will flash cards to Partner 2 for 3 minutes. Then reverse. • Students will return to their seats to complete 2-minute timed-test.
