  4. Independent thinking • Be open to creative thinking of followers • Allow open flexibility for all • Think outside the box: Lose the rule book • Leaders must be open to growth • See people as humans not tools for use • Empower and Encourage followers

  5. Trust • Build Trust • Care for followers and authentically display that care • Lead with a heart • Invite feedback and provide feedback • Listen to criticism • Serve followers

  6. Listen • Communicate with the heart • Listen to others with a heart of compassion • Take time for quiet reflection • Listen to what is being said in your surroundings • Be open to others ideas • Dialogue with others

  7. Accountable • Listen to constructive criticism • Communicate with your organization • Dialogue with others to build trust • Be truthful with followers • “Truth and accountability are the goals and trust is the bridge that will get you there.”
