  2. The “Early Bird Dinner”on the first night of the reunion.

  3. Starting the tour of the St. James Hotel

  4. Going down the stairs to the lobby.

  5. Some of the stairways down to mysterious passages.

  6. An antique organ found a new home in the lobby of the St. James Hotel

  7. The hallways were wide enough for two ladies in hoop skirts to walk together.

  8. The library

  9. The view of the Mississippi River from the hotel.

  10. Halle Downing rang the traditional cowbell for the opening meeting.

  11. Brooke Bugos led the Pledge of Allegiance

  12. The young people entertained us.

  13. Georgene told us about our ancestors.

  14. What a treat!! We got to go for a cruise onThe “Pearl of the Lake”

  15. Waiting to board

  16. Some cousins were on the upper deck.

  17. Some cousins chose the lower deck.

  18. So, who is driving this boat? Sarah ?

  19. Or Jordan?

  20. Mark Twain was along for the ride. And some tall tales.

  21. That’s Wisconsin on the other side.

  22. At the banquet, Sarah Peterson and Jason Vawter played for us.

  23. Shirley Beasley presented the memorial service.

  24. Jordan Johnston invited the cousins to San Diego next year for the 2009 reunion.

  25. The oldest and the youngest. The couple married the longest.Caroline Vawter and Brooke Bugos. Donna and Bob Vawter

  26. Jordan Johnston, the incoming president, presents J W Vawter, the outgoing president, with a token of appreciation.
