Peace by P.E.A.C.E. is a program aimed at fostering peace and positive learning environments in Toronto's inner-city Schools. By teaching conflict resolution through interactive activities and promoting cultural understanding, the program actively works towards creating respectful and equitable treatment for all students. Equitable and respectful treatment:Understanding cultural differences “Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.” Psalms 34:14 Pursuing peace is the goal of a program with which I volunteered called Peace by P.E.A.C.E. As an educator, I have seen the adverse effects of bullying and conflict on school communities. Conversely, I have had the privilege to see how teaching about conflict resolution through interactive activities greatly impacts a positive learning environment. Fortunately, there are programs such as Peace by P.E.A.C.E. which actively bring peace to Toronto’s inner-city Schools.

  3. Peace by P.E.A.C.E. Festival Large Peace by P.E.A.C.E. conference at Toronto’s Convention Centre. Thousands of Grade 5 students and teachers from all over Toronto come downtown at the end of the school year to promote peace within our schools. Peace by P.E.A.C.E. involves team planning and teaching with 3-4 other university students per classroom York volunteers bring grade 5 students from Shoreham E.S. for Kids day @ York Students from Firgrove E.S.
