Asylum Package 2013 • Reformulation Receptiondirective(Standards for the reception of applicants for international protection) • Residenzpflicht (Art. 7): Still exists, but the directive does not allow a punishment for violating it.Grounds for detaining somebody in custody (Art. 8): - identity verification- Necessity of preservation of evidence - Decision about the right of entry- Delayed Application - Reasons of national security and public policy- Protection of Dublin transfer • Prison conditions (Art. 10): („as far as possible“) • - Asylum seekers which where taken in custody should be „as far as possible“ placed separated of third-country-nationals (which not applied for international protection)- Familysshould be placed seperatly

Asylum Package 2013 • Imprisonment of minors (Art. 11): - last option, as short as possible- should not be detained in prisons- if detained, than they should have options of leisure activities- if (unaccompanied minors) are detained, seperated from adultsAccess to labor market (Art. 15): - Ban on work reduced from 12 to 9 month -> but states could prefer other job seekersSocial Security (Art. 17):- guarantees material payments (appropriate living standard) • Medical care (Art. 19):- just medical emergency care and just really importent therapies and difficult mental disorders- guarantees a support of persons with special needs -> (Art. 22)Special need of protection (Art. 22):- Member state needs to find out if the asylum seeker is in a special need of protection- they have special rights
