DSG Presentation • How do you apply for a grant? • Attend the Grant Management Seminar Training • Identify and address a community need • Conduct a realistic assessment of available resources • Target a specific goal(s) and measurable results • Build effective networks that strengthen communities • Empower project recipients to be part of the solution • Recognize all contributions as important and necessary
DSG Presentation • Completion of DSG Application • Find application on www.rotary7120.org • Review Checklist as you complete the application • Have a co-Rotarian proofread your application • Email a copy to Chairperson • Mail a copy to the Chairperson • Complete application by April 1st allowing for time for any needed feedback on your application • Applications due by April 15th.
DSG Presentation • Time Frame for Awarding of Grants • All applications are due by April 15th – no later. • DSG Committee will meet between April 16th and April 30th to review the applications. • All participating Rotary Clubs will be notified if they are receiving a grant(s) at the annual conference on May 3-5th. Also, check website for listing of awarded grants for the year. • All participating Rotary Clubs not receiving grant(s) will be notified by mail.
