Authenticity What does it mean to be AUTHENTIC? • “Conforming to fact and therefore worthy of trust, reliance, or belief; not counterfeit or copied.” • The authentic person is reliable because their inner values and motivations are clear. • “Knowing and staying true to ones authentic Self is the foundation of Leadership” In order to be an Authentic Leader you must have clear values.

How to become Authentic? • Identify your values and passions • Identify ethical behavior • Identify role models that have the same values and passions • Spend time reflecting on weather your actions are consistent with your values. • Identify areas that you need growth in • Commit to your own physical well being.
An Authentic Leader: • Is ethical and honest in all circumstances • Delivers on commitments • Accepts responsibility for behavior • Can describe personal values and how they fit with life choices • Has a better sense of self that integrates body, mind and spirit.
