Conditional Probabilities Observation Form(Eckert, Martens, & Di Gennaro, 2005)
Conditional Probabilities Observation Form During a traditional Antecedent-Behavior-Consequence (‘ABC’) recording, the observer writes a running account of a student’s behaviors and the classroom events that appear to trigger, or to act as consequences of, that behavior. A drawback of ABC recordings is that they may not show clear relationships between behaviors and the consequences that reinforce those behaviors...
Conditional Probabilities Observation Form The Conditional Probabilities Observation Form (based upon a description from Eckert, Martens, & Di Gennaro, 2005) allows the observer to compute and chart the conditional probability that a specific consequence is contingent on a target student behavior. This information can be useful in completing a Functional Behavioral Assessment and in designing behavioral interventions.

The teacher directs Ricky to put away the toy and pay attention. A peer starts to whisper to Ricky, engaging him in conversation. The teacher again approaches Ricky to redirect him to the task. She also moves the classmate. Ricky stands up to look out of the window. Partial Intervals Recording Chart
