It is recommended to consult your doctor immediately, if you become pregnant during the course of this treatment. • Talk to your doctor about the consequences of pregnancy with Zoloft. There is not much information available to support the theory of whether or not Zoloft passes through breast milk. Your family and friends should check your mood swings and for other symptoms. Regular checkups are must for about 12 weeks from the start of the treatment. • Do not take Zoloft together with pimozide (Orap), or a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) such as isocarboxazid (Marplan), phenelzine (Nardil), rasagiline (Azilect), selegiline (Eldepryl, Emsam), or tranylcypromine (Parnate). Wait for at least 14 days once you have stopped taking MAOI before you can take Zoloft.
