Scorecard • Previous Month: - Chose type of wireless communication - Find/purchase a particular product for wireless communication - Programming language/instant messaging protocol - Start on Functional Specification • Accomplishments: - Chose to use Bluetooth for wireless communication - Purchased “Ice Blue” wireless Bluetooth & PIC module - Decided to use Pidgin for an instant messenger protocol - Completed first versions of functional specification • Shortcomings: - none

  7. Plans • Continue Design of the main program for the host machine • Start familiarization with a Bluetooth/PIC module • Start familiarization with a Bluetooth on the host machine • Figure out details for the demo of the prototype
