Suitcase Flights? • Suitcase flights are feasible for DC-8. • From Grand Forks, DC-8 can reach all of Canada, Alaska, Greenland, and Sweden. • Not sure about other aircraft. • Logistics Issues • Need to secure quick lodging. • Need to deal with double-lodging. • Would need to work diplomatic clearances accordingly. • Overflight. • Customs and visas. • Little or no lab/logistic support at overnight site.
