  11. Study Multiple Choice in Study mode A Study mode multiple choice question contains additional features useful in preparing for taking an exam such as answer explanations, hints, links to additional information on the question topic, the ability to make notes on individual questions, and the ability to print questions or tests.

  12. Simulation screen Simulations are question types that incorporate questions in various formats to broadly test the user’s knowledge in a subject. Each simulation contains 3 - 4 tabs, with the first tab containing the answerable question(s), and they are in varying formats.

  13. Simulation screen: Authoritative Literature tab The Authoritative Literature tab contains accounting regulations. The screen is divided into table of contents and document sections.

  14. Simulation screen: Help and Resources tabs The Help tab contains information on how to input answers for each type of question, and this appears on each simulation. Some simulations also contain a Resources tab, which has other information that is helpful in answering.

  15. Simulation screen: Pop-list simulation When a user double clicks into a shaded field, the answers for that field are displayed in a list. The user must highlight their answer and select to OK button in order for the answer to be recorded.

  16. Simulation screen: Spreadsheet simulation The user must click into a cell and enter the information. Text is added via the entry cell at top of the area. The value can be entered directly or a formula can be entered, and the spreadsheet will calculate the value using the formula.

Text entry fields display based on initial selection. When the cursor is in each entry box, users are guided on how to enter values. The box below the entry box checks as the user enters the value to see whether it meets the requirements for the regulation type.

  18. Simulation screen: Communication simulation Users must input their response in the text field, which is then compared to the provided answer for self-grading purposes.

  22. Reports screen: Exam Results Exam results are displayed with the most recent test being first. A summary of results of all exams taken for Overall Exam Results is also shown.

  23. Reports screen: Progress The progress report is the same as the Exam Results report except that calculations (Grade, %, and Average Time/Problem) are based on Problems Attempted instead of Total Problems.

  24. Reports screen: Results by Module The Results by Module report breaks test results down by module. For each module, Total Problems, Problems Attempted, Grade, and % are tabulated/calculated and are displayed. Users can click on an individual question to see question details, which will open in a separate window.
