Employment Ontario Transformation • MTCU is transforming the way services are delivered through new program design, service delivery framework, and information system. • To support employment services during transformation OEBSM infrastructure agreements will be extended and contract administration streamlined. 2

OEBSM Agreement Extensions • OEBSM agreements can be extended for up to 18 months effective December 1, 2007 • 4 initiatives will be introduced to simplify the extension process and reduce administrative burden • 2 initiatives focus on internal processes - 2 will ease external administrative requirements 3

  4. Agreement Administration: Budget Flexibility • Increased budget flexibility. • Reduced need for amendments. • Changes to budget based on principle of prior written approval. 4

  5. Agreement Administration: Budget Negotiation • Allows for maximum use of funds across programs. • End date extensions do not require a new proposal. • New budgets will be based on MTCU analysis and forecast of expenditures. 5

  6. Communication Products & Tools • Details regarding contract administration changes to support agreement extensions will be provided to staff November 23 • Service providers will be contacted by local MTCU staff to discuss extensions and flexibilities • Information will be posted on the Employment Ontario Partner’s Gateway (www.eopg.ca) 6
