Project Question For College students, is the amount of weekly exercise (in minutes) related to GPA? Exercise GPA
Data Collection Plan Each member of group 10 surveyed every 5th individual until they obtained 15 survey samples. Each 5th individual was asked if they would partake in a survey for a Math 1040 class project. The individual was asked to document the amount of exercise they participated in each week (in minutes), as well as their current GPA.

Stat’s for Linear Correlation Coefficient & Line of Regression Linear Correlation Coefficient: .0001182345125. A linear relation does not exist between the amount of exercise (in minutes) a college student partakes in and the student’s GPA.
Correlation of Student’s Current GPA to Minutes of Weekly Exercise Current Grade Point Average Minutes of exercise per week
Difficulties and Surprises from Study Difficulties: *locations-where to survey college students specifically *differentiating students from professors *random non-student persons walking in and out of gym- (throw off count of every 5th person surveyed) *verbal or written down responses to survey questions *honest answers from students *putting information learned this year from course into practice- For example: constructing histograms, box plots, and graphs in stat crunch Surprises: *willingness of gym to allow survey *all students were willing to participate in survey *results follow a linear pattern
