Resource Development Clearinghouse (Barriers to Establish) • Expensive and time consuming to establish website and training platform • Site needs staff and technical support • Site needs constant updating • Ownership of information and legal liability • Need to have an MoU with Provinces and First Nations for information and information sharing • Site needs to be member driven: fee for service • High speed internet access can be an issue for some users

Resource Development Clearinghouse (Recommendations) • Joint venture with an Aboriginal non-profit organization • Agreements with industry experts • Agreements for information sharing • Maintain business clusters • Provide training on the site • Information must be accessible (pan-Aboriginal) • Work with resource sector on work plan and implementation plan
