“You are not far from the kingdom”. Mark 12:28-34. Why only near the kingdom?. He was sincere in his beliefs . He was honest in his inquiry . He was faithful to the Law. . Why not go in the kingdom?. Pride of life : “I’m a law-abiding person.”

  3. Why not go in the kingdom? • Pride of life: • “I’m a law-abiding person.” • “I don’t want to be too different.” • Righteousness of self: • “Close, is good enough”. • “I’m already in.”
